We went to Venezuelan Bakery & Cafe on accident.. it’s an awesome place. My friend said it was the best arepa since moving from Caracas, Venezuela.
The breakfast empanadas are tasty too.
I am by no means an Arepa specialist.. but this one looks awesome & very tasty. The amount of steak they put in that arepa alone would get me to try this place

The only time I had an arepa was at a festival in Munich. I believe it was called Tollwood. Was super tasty, but I wish I had made that experience with a different woman. ^^

Then you should definitely try them in Los Angeles. They have some pretty authentic food over here. Especially when it comes to South American food.
The “we went on accident” origin story is how every great spot gets found.
That arepa looks like it could feed two people and still have leftovers for the drive home. 
How much did you pay for each arepa?

The shredded beef arepa was the most expensive for $16. So not the cheapest. I think the other ones were around $13 or $14, the empanadas around $6-$7.

I think that’s still okay for such an amount of beef. These places can’t compete with street vendors in terms of pricing.
