Haidilao Hot Pot, Century City. Maybe the best Hot Pot in Los Angeles

This place is an experience..

They are allowing one person to dine in since some places will not let one person do hot pot.

Haidilao is an amazing place for hotpot. Everything is fresh and authentic. It’s almost looks futuristic with these little robots serving the food. The pictures I attached don’t even do it justice. Service is amazing.

I guess it’s that kind of place where the experience and quality carries the dinner. Where do you go for authentic hot pot?

Haidilao is next level, especially for singles. Went solo last month after a movie. Got a seat without reservation and without a problem, they brought extra napkins without asking, robot dropped the plates.

It felt kinda fancy for hot pot, but pictures never picture the full experience. It’s just an amazing place.

Aww.. I didn’t do hotpot in ages. This place looks cute. Especially with these robots. :heart_hands:t2:

Been going since they opened the Century City one. Never solo, but they always delivered. Most spots probably look at single people like you’re about to steal the pot. It makes sense though, that place is huge. They can afford it. We always went without reservation during weekdays.

Not sure if Beverly Hills is behind.. I wish I would be served by robots once in a while. Do you actually tip them?

There are still real people taking your orders. :joy: We still tip the 20% no matter what.

One of these places you walk in on accident and never regret. :joy::joy::joy:

Best hot pot in L.A.. at least of the ones I discovered.

Ain’t that how every good place gets discovered? :winking_face_with_tongue:

LOL.. Those robots still trip me out every time I go. Went last month and one almost ran into my girl. Food slaps though, especially the spicy pork base. Try their spring rolls and friend chicken wings as an appetizer.

I will give it a visit during my next LA vacation.

That might be the first time I agree with someone who mentions “This is the best..”. Haidilao is indeed the best.

I would go as far as unmatched.

For now, yes. It’s the most authentic place, but places come and go. That’s why I won’t buy into anything for long term. But yeah, for now I agree.

Haidilao is worth the drive from West Hollywood.

I think it’s one of these spots you wouldn’t expect in a mall like that. One of these best hotpot places by a mile.

YGF Malatang is also worth checking out.

I tried that one on my way to a concert (downtown). It’s also very tasty.

Haidilao is still my first choice. It’s also way closer to where I live.

I’ll give it a visit during my vacation. There’s pretty much no decent hotpot spot in my area.
