I think it’s not only the highest rooftop bar on the West Coast, but also the one that offers the best views over downtown, Los Angeles up to the Hollywood Hills. I think the minimum is $60 per person for table seating. I am not 100% what the lady said when we got seated this time (but there is a minimum). I attached some of my older and newer pictures. As you can see, they changed the seating, I preferred the old design. The chairs felt more comfy.
Draft beer is around $12, bottled beer $10. A glass wine around $20. Cocktails are between $25 and $27, so don’t worry about the minimum, you will spend that kind of money.
The food is around $20 to a little over $30, with not more than 12 items available. So they certainly focus on the drinks. The drink selection is huge and the cocktails tasty. Service is always friendly and attentive. Try to come shortly before sunset and you can see the skyline during day & night.
I went there a couple of times over the years. The old seating was better, I agree. I think it’s one of the places everyone should visit at least once. Especially for tourists.. Spire 73 is probably more impressive than the Walk of Fame.
Just be prepared to pay the minimum. It’s an experience. The cocktails are always tasty, so is the food.
The view is amazing.. you can appreciate the entire city of Los Angeles. Good for drinks, but not to have a full dinner as the food menu is rather small.
It’s pretty much this plus four desert items (Chocolate Mousse, Cheesecake, Pineapple Sundae & Tableside S'mores).

The service is one of the best, greetings to Eunice. We never waited too long even when it got busy. I don’t mind that the menu has a limited variety. I come for the drinks and skyline views. The “appetizer’s”, as I would call them, do the trick.
I feel the service at the Spire 73 is two levels above what La Boucherie offers. The food there is better, but I think the Spire 73 is the one place worth checking out.
Prices are pretty much what Makoto said. Last time I paid $26 for a cocktail and $12 for a beer. Cocktails are actually good, not just pretty. We skipped the food last time and just did drinks. Hit the minimum easy.
Food is fine but you’re not going for the food. Come for sunset if you can, then stay for the city lights. It’s a different vibe after dark.
I feel the Perch & Spire 73 attract different kinds of crowds. I love both. The Perch if I want a bit more of the “party vibe”, Spire 73 for good talks and the more mellow vibe with “wow experience”.
The Perch can feel “chill” as well, depends on the time and day.
