Understanding the Moderation of Us in LA

We have one head moderator, MarkWeHo. He is the engineer of Us in LA. After that, we have moderators. We have one Admin account; that's me. I am not a single person. I only post when all moderators decide to. The head moderator & the moderators each have one voice. They count equally. So whenever I pop up, it's a decision of the board of moderators.

Every Us in LA member gets the chance to fill that role eventually. No moderator, not even the head moderator, carries more power. The board of moderators "votes in" every new moderator. This isn't a political election. We solely decide based on what you posted here. Your money, gender, and political affiliation don't matter. We welcome every religion. We welcome transsexual people, gays, lesbians, and heteros equally.

The name "Us in LA" wasn't an accident. It's indeed "Us in LA".

One more thing, even head moderation positions open up eventually. I am a nerd who is behind the engineering part. While I (for that reason) can't give up the IT part, I don't care about running this page more than others do. I think we already have more influential accounts. Which is totally fine. I prefer to work in the background.

For that exact reason, text Mercedes or me instead if you ever have any issues. We will work it out for you. Promised.

So Mark is just a nerd like me who prefers to be in the background?

The board of moderators voted 1 to 4 in favor of "yes."

Deep down, Arisu & Mark, we are all nerds. We are just better at pretending we aren't. :kissing_face_with_smiling_eyes:
