On State Route 110 north near I-5. All lanes closed. The traffic is being diverted due to an overturned vehicle.

The Laugh Factory on Sunset Blvd will have a comedy show tapping at 8:00 PM today. They will feature eight next generation artists. I got tickets for myself. The show is called „the Spotlight“.

Nothing better then ending a Monday evening with some good laughs. :clap:t2:

Aww… I feel like I need that too. It’s not even lunchtime yet and my energy is already gone. Nothing worse than Monday morning meetings. I’ll try to grab some tickets during lunch.

The usual Monday madness. A guy in Sawtelle drove his car into an apartment building and ended up in hospital. That was near West Pico Boulevard and the 405 Freeway in Sawtelle.

If anyone is into K-Pop, Mamamoo is playing in L.A. today. Crypto.com arena. They still have some tickets.

If any K-pop stuff happens in L.A… feel free to pm me. I started to get into K-Pop after I visited South Korea. Went to the crypto arena in 2024 to see Taemin and NMIXX.

A DHL Boeing 737-800 operated by Kalitta Charters Il as flight KI|1814 from Phoenix reportedly suffered a brake lockup on landing at Los Angeles

International Airport (LAX), causing an explosion and tire fire; the aircraft remains on Runway 25L. Expect delays.

You guys might want to join the KCRW Summer Nights at LA Plaza downtown (6 PM to 11 PM). They have live music and KCRW DJs, food trucks, drinks.. and galleries open after hours. It's more of an LA summer-evening vibe than a nightclub.

The food trucks alone are worth the visit.

About time that the weekend starts.

I'm joining the Reggaeton rooftop party in Downtown (Saturday), 10 PM to 2 AM, at Elevate Lounge. It should be fun once the heat is gone.

There are free live jazz performances in an outdoor setting at LACMA. Janis Mann will perform tonight. Probably the most chill start into the weekend. Went there a couple of times since they started in May.

There is a nice event in West Hollywood today, called Spinning Sunset (1-7 PM). They have DJ pop-ups/live music, food, and vintage clothing.
