I already wrote it in another thread as I was wondering too. If anyone is looking for a nice rooftop party in Downtown, the Elevate Lounge is one of DTLA's best rooftop spots (with live music and city views).
They will play reggaeton and Latin hits until 2 AM.

If you’re into house/disco, there’s a thing called Rhythms N Grooves at Nico’s tonight. 8-midnight and apparently free. Drew Labarre, Saish K and Raul R are playing. I went there in June and had a good night.
Not sure if I make it today. This week was super draining. I might wait until Saturday.

There is a free live jazz performance in an outdoor setting at LACMA and Janis Mann will perform tonight. She is one of my favorites. After that maybe the Perch, that depends on my friends.

There is an annual neighborhood event in Echo Park over the weekend.. it’s called Echo Park Rising.
It’s kinda a free multi-venue thing all over Echo Park. There are local bands, comedy.. You can just walk from spot to spot. Better than being trapped in one club.

Tchami at Academy LA is the one if you want a proper club night instead of concert vibes. Big dance floor and people are actually there to move.
Take an Uber, parking around there on a Saturday is something you don’t want do.

If you want something more relaxing try the KCRW Summer Nights at LA Plaza. It's more of a laid-back LA summer-evening vibe with good food as well.

I feel like once I finish work, I just go straight to sleep. This week was insanely intense.
Maybe The Bungalow tomorrow. My friends are bugging me about it. Not feeling it yet.
