Let’s play a simple Los Angeles-themed game.

Someone posts a “Would you rather…” question with two choices. The next person answers, gives a short reason why, and then posts a new question for the next person.

Rules:

  1. Pick one of the two options.
  2. Tell us why you chose it.
  3. Add a new Would You Rather? question to keep the game going.
  4. Keep the questions fun, interesting, and preferably LA-related.
  5. No attacking other users over their choices.

Example:

Would you rather live rent-free in Downtown LA or pay $2,000 a month to live in Malibu?

Haha, easy one as I live in Malibu. The answer is of course Malibu. 2k is a steal and I love Malibu. Can’t live without the ocean. Downtown is too wild for my taste. :woman_tipping_hand:t2:

I would rather eat In-N-Out for one month. After that I would probably need a break. :thinking: Never In-N-Out again? Nah, that isn’t an option.

Would you rather have unlimited free meals at every taco spot in LA or unlimited free drinks at every rooftop bar in LA?

That’s a hard one, but I would go for free drinks. One cocktail is more expensive than three tacos. :eyes:

Would you rather wake up every morning with an ocean view in Venice or a city view from the Hollywood Hills?

Would you rather have unlimited Equinox access or never fight for a parking spot in West Hollywood?

Not fair because I live in West Hollywood and have two free parking spots. :joy: Most places (I visit frequently) are in walking distance or have free parking spots (Trader Joes, Gelson’s). So I take the free Equinox access. How much I would use it is another question as I like to work out at home. I would use it at least 1-2 times a week.

Would you rather have a barista who knows your order and your entire dating history, or complete anonymity at every coffee shop in the city?

Would you rather embarrass yourself in front of your friends or in front of a famous influencer who would share it publicly? Your friends wouldn’t find out.

20 mph on PCH. At least I get the view too and know they don’t do it on purpose.

Would you rather wait for a table or wait for the valet to remember where they put your car.

That’s the most brutal question so far. :smiling_face_with_tear: The last heat wave wasn’t too long ago. I think without my car. There’s still Waymo. :sob: Would you rather spend a Friday night at a rooftop party in DTLA or a beach bonfire in Malibu?

Free Uber rides. Or even better free Waymo. Means no more paying for gas or repairs.

Never sit in traffic again. That’s the most time consuming part. Would you rather have a penthouse in DTLA or a bungalow in Venice?
