So that lady, Bailee Lynn Rios, was arrested, but do we have any updates on whether she was drunk or if it was a medical emergency? That was a really shocking incident.
I haven’t seen anything confirming she was drunk yet. LAPD only said she was driving the wrong way and ran the red light before hitting the bus. Sounds like they’re still investigating what caused it.
Kinda strange that there aren’t any more updates. The police report says the Expedition was going the wrong way on De Soto and then blew through the red light right into the bus.
Just a very strange accident.
Right, I couldn't find anything either.
Still too early apparently. LAPD says the investigation is ongoing, so I’d wait for an official update before assuming DUI or a medical episode.
Correct. If impairment was obvious at the scene, I’d think that would’ve been mentioned already, but that’s just a guess..
The wrong-way driving is the part that makes this so strange. Hopefully they release more details soon because right now there are way more questions than answers.
Right.
So if anyone finds any updates please drop them here. Thanks!
Yep, I've been monitoring this one, too.
She has her profile public. Bailee Lynn Rios, aka Bailee Rios. Some of her pictures show her with weed and weed plants. Not trying to draw any early conclusions, but there might be more to the story than what was published.
Just wow.. I think she will have a lot of explaining to do.
Aragon (her best friend) told The Post.
“She was saying lately that she was associating with certain people that she shouldn’t be associating with. I was going to help her with that.”
That is sick.
She destroyed innocent lives as well as her own.
Really heartbreaking situation. I appreciate that the friend didn’t try to excuse what allegedly happened and kept the victims and their families front and center.
Sometimes I am glad I don't leave that house that often.
Prayers for everyone.
Can’t even express how sorry I feel for the families involved. My sincere condolences. ![]()
You can tell he’s struggling with two emotions at once, caring about his friend while being horrified by what happened to the victims. There really aren’t any good words for something like this.
