A friend told me about H&H Brazilian Steakhouse. He said it's one of his favorites. Have you been there? The rating on Maps is 4.8.. which is very impressive.

Yeah! Went there for a birthday dinner a few months ago. 4.8 doesn’t surprise me at all. Picanha was absolute fire. It can get a bit busy, which isn't surprising and they charge premium prices. Good for special occasions like birthdays or business dinners.
The only negative thing was that the interior felt a bit bland.

Been meaning to check this place out too. Every time I drive down Beverly I see it and somehow never stop. A 4.8 in LA with that many reviews definitely got my attention though. Might finally give it a shot this month.

I have been there twice so far. It's one of those places that holds up to its promises. It isn't more expensive than BOA Steakhouse on Sunset Blvd. The food is on the same level, but BOA offers a completely different ambiance. H&H is just lacking that comfy feeling. That's why BOA stays my favorite.
.. but again, the food is at least on the same level. Some cuts are even a bit better. I don't think there are better places than H&H when it comes to the meat itself. Try their Maminha Tri-Tip or the Filet Mignon. My friend had the lamb chops. Everything was superb.
I will come back to try their other cuts as well.

That is exactly what I care about, to be honest. A nice ambiance is good for date nights, but I will most likely go with my dad. We love those premium cuts.
I am willing to pay premium prices for premium beef. 
I think that is one of those dishes you can't really go cheap on.
Can't afford that daily either. Just here and there.
