Some people shouldn't be allowed to drive on our streets. Is it just me, or do these hit-and-runs become more common nowadays?

I know some people don't want to hear it, but more DUI checkpoints would be helpful. If you've got nothing to hide, what's the problem?

I wouldn't have any problem with that.
The thing is, we don't have enough police for that. LAPD and LASD are already massively understaffed. That's why I can't understand the people who want to defund the police. They have zero common sense. Public safety should serve everyone's interests.
We keep hearing about these DUI crashes every day. This time it was a police officer.. next time it's a child, mom, or dad.

Sadly, that's the reality in most US cities outside of Texas or Florida.
I watched people go to prison for 20+ years. Some of them had 7-8 DUIs before they killed someone. So enforcing the law also comes down to the judges.
