My sister, who visits Los Angeles for the first time, wants to see the Hollywood Sign, Malibu, and Rodeo Drive in one day. I told her she might not like that journey. How do you feel about that plan?

That’s wild and brave. At least she doesn’t go for the biggest tourist trap, the Walk of Fame.

Possible yes, without loosing your mind, not sure.
Finding parking in Malibu is a challenge for itself. I was trying to go for a restaurant once, can’t remember the name, and turned around after I couldn’t find parking for under 50 Dollars or so.
I wouldn’t recommend that to anyone. Take her on 1-2 hikes and maybe a nice beach down south.
