Dave’s Hot Chicken I thought I could handle “reaper”… I was wrong. 
I couldn’t feel my face for like 20 minutes. I even had to sign a waiver which should have been a warning sign.

Howlin’ Ray’s is one of my favorites when it comes to spicy food. I tell you their hottest level is no joke. People hype it up but it actually lives up to it.

Jitlada in Thai Town. I ordered “spicy” thinking I was brave. I was sweating through my shirt halfway in. There was also this random taco stand in East LA with a super spicy salsa. No name, no warning, just pain. Still loved the tacos and finished all three.

Sichuan Impression (Alhambra).. ordered mapo tofu extra spicy and it was straight fire + numbness combo.
