Where should tourists stay in Los Angeles for the first time? I would like a to stay in a safe neighborhood, not too far from everything.
For a first-time visit to Los Angeles, I’d recommend staying on the Westside. It’s generally safer, cleaner, and more convenient for tourists.
Top areas to consider.. Santa Monica, it’s pretty safe, walkable, close to the beach, great for first-timers.
West Hollywood (WeHo), super central location, also walkable, lots of restaurants and nightlife. People watch out for each other.
Beverly Hills, right next to WeHo, upscale, and very safe. Maybe not as much to do as in Santa Monica or West Hollywood.
These areas make it easier to explore without feeling overwhelmed. Just keep in mind LA is very spread out, so no place is truly “close to everything.”

I would avoid staying in Downtown if it’s your first time. Culver City, West L.A. or Palms are also nice.
That’s sounds very interesting. I heard all three names before. I will have to do some research on which one to pick of them.
