We got two tickets for the game “United States vs. Paraguay”. I’m not sure where to stay though. Traffic will most likely be insane and Inglewood might not be the safest area. Then again there should be a lot of police. Any recommendations?
Studies are indicating that the area around SoFi Stadium has a lower crime rate than many other NFL venues. You guessed right. The surrounding areas will be heavily policed. That Inglewood area isn’t what it was 10 years ago. Real estate prices went through the roof.
Mar Vista, Culver City, and Playa del Rey aren’t too far away either. All of them are considered being pretty safe.

Just avoid the area east of Inglewood. North/ West are absolutely okay. Hawthorne / Gardena in the South are still somewhat okay, Torrance further South is a bit far, but generally a good area.
I would probably stay somewhere in West L.A., Palms, or near the beach. It’s probably a once in a lifetime event, just arrive early and take in the atmosphere.
Be brave and do the commute like the rest of us.
