I think it’s safe to say the police have completely lost control of the situation. Defunding the police has apparently worked out great.

I honestly don’t understand how these street takeovers are still happening so often. It’s not just people doing donuts in an empty parking lot. They’re blocking intersections, damaging property and putting everyone around them at risk. On top of that they are looting stores?
There has to be a point where the city starts taking this more seriously.

Just a bunch of thugs that don’t care about personal property. I feel sorry for that owner. Going through all the hardship of starting a business just so these lunatics destroy everything in minutes.

If the Darwin Award is given to people who remove themselves from the human gene pool in remarkably foolish ways then we found some strong contenders. Zero sympathy for any of them.

These takeovers act as a cover for the real crimes. Police gets distracted and people blend back into the crowd after they ransacked businesses. Just embarrassing to watch these animals. I hope they catch at least some of them.

These people have no common sense. You find them in other major cities, too, like Chicago. One thing that could work is more license plate readers and cameras.

They are actually doing that in places like West Hollywood. They just need to add it in all those hotspots as well.

It's pretty simple. Charge them huge fines, lock them up, take their driver's licenses away. There's no reason this should be tolerated.
Just send drones whenever that happens and follow them until they arrive at their home.
