OneRepublic at the Hollywood Bowl with fireworks. That’s the move if you can still get seats. Picnic + show + fireworks is peak Saturday.

First beach to cool down (Third Street / Santa Monica Block Fest) and then West Hollywood / Hollywood for “Drunk Dracula” at Hotel Café because I want something weird and fun. Multiple showtimes.

Koreatown itself is more bars/karaoke than a headline show tonight. I’d hop over to Wiltern for Casiopea if you like jazz-fusion / city pop, or just do a late dinner and drinks on 6th.

LAWineFest is at the Equestrian Center in Burbank this year (2 to 6 p.m.) Not a “night” event but a good start. I will take an Uber and split with some friends.

After that WeHo or Hollywood. We go with the flow.

Bondz Y2K Rooftop Kick Off Starting at 7pm. If you’re going, don’t show up at 10 expecting open bar to still be a thing. These “free rooftop” promos fill fast and then suddenly it’s guest list + 2 drink min.

Treehouse Rooftop Los Angeles Reviews: Is it the worst-rated Rooftop Club?

I was looking for rooftop bars in downtown LA that stay open until 2 AM and came across Treehouse Rooftop in Chinatown. It has a 2.0 Google rating (and about 1.7 on Yelp), which is pretty shocking for a venue that still draws weekend lines. What’s going on with that place?

There is a DNBNL Block Party is happening today in the warehouse district. They’re shutting down the block around 930 Mateo Street (The Compound / Mateo Warehouse area) for a day-to-night drum & bass rave.

Two stages, indoor/outdoor, food, drinks, vendors, art.
