Of course it rains today.^^
Had a whole beach day planned in Santa Monica for over a week now. Glad there is a plan B in place. I know we need the rain, but did it really have to happen during Labor Day weekend?

At least you have a plan B. I’ve been planning a little outdoor get-together for weeks as well. Tables, location, food, everything ready. Now it’s raining and everyone is texting what the backup plan is. There is no backup plan yet.

Wanted to attend the Malibu Chili Cook-Off event with a friend and her family yesterday, but it was canceled because of the rain. It will continue today. Especially interesting if you have kids as they have carnival rides, great food and live artists.

I was trying to get free tickets for the Hollywood Roosevelt Labor Day pool event.. it’s already sold out. Only $1k+ table service left.

Sorry you couldn’t make it yesterday. That event is bigger than I anticipated back then. They have so much going on, not only for kids, but adults as well.

There are a bunch of free events in Hermosa Beach or Malibu for example. Downtown as well.

Yep, like every Labor Day. Sunset Soiree and Level 8 will host rooftop Labor Day parties. There are more events like the one at the Kult Theater.
There is always something happening in DTLA.

Made other evening plans already, otherwise I would have considered going. 
There are some major traffic delays on the I-110 north near W 51st St. Apparently a vehicle fire. So avoid that part if you can.
