Let’s never forget that SoCal was deeply affected by the terror attacks of September 11th, 2001. Three of four crashed planes were flying to LAX before being hijacked.
There are a couple of ceremonies (Beverly Hills 9/11 Memorial Garden, LAFD 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony etc) happening today.

I believe that the old cars had no AC either. It’s just that there is less shade now and that they have to put more energy into that thing. It’s a really tough job, yes. That’s why I offer them water whenever they deliver to me.

That’s a nice thing to do, especially during the heat. I store water in the fridge for the exact same reason.

Yup, they never had AC. Makes sense as they constantly go in an out plus have no doors.
